QEVA™ stands for Quality Elk Velvet Antler.
QEVA™ stands for Quality Elk Velvet Antler.
Elk Velvet Antler (EVA) is the blood and nutrient-dense substance that forms an Elk’s antler structure. It is a rich source of bioactive compounds including glucosamine, collagen, amino and fatty acids, and minerals including calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium.
EVA has long been used in Traditional Chinese medicine to support mobility, joint health, muscle strength, energy levels, and healing. Its benefits have been explored in over 250 studies worldwide.
All elk velvet antler used in QEVA products is harvested at the time of highest biological activity. Only whole antlers that have a dry-down percentage of less than 36% are used in the preparation of QEVA products. No more than 35% of the antlers may be from animals under 5 years of age to guarantee maximum efficacy.
Our 10-step Quality Assurance program ensures all QEVA products have the highest potency and long shelf-life.
Based on use in Traditional Chinese medicine and from more than 250 studies worldwide, we know that QEVA can offer the following benefits:
Joint pain relief
Increased strength and endurance
Improved mobility and stamina
Reduced oxidative stress
Boosted immune health
Increased cartilage and muscle repair
Improved blood circulation and alertness
Common prescription and OTC pain relievers such as acetaminophen, aspirin, naproxen, oxaprozin, nabumetone, diclofenac and ibuprofen, are effective at relieving discomfort, but do not address the root cause of joint pain. Additionally, these drugs may produce side effects such as liver damage, kidney damage and bleeding from the intestinal tract.
Research has shown the compounds in QEVA provide relief from pain and swelling while working to repair underlying issues like cartilage damage and function. QEVA does not produce any serious side effects at recommended dosages.
QEVA elk velvet antler is a rich source of bioactive compounds including glucosamine, collagen, chondroitin sulfate, amino and fatty acids, growth factors, and minerals including calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium. These compounds work together to support mobility, joint health, strength, energy, healing, and immunity.
No. QEVA is 100% pure elk velvet antler. It does not contain any fillers, preservatives, colours, or flavours. Our elk are raised without the use of hormones or animal by-products.
Many other products containing glucosamine or chondroitin sulfate are made from animal by-products such as shark cartilage, shellfish and bovine cartilage, which involves ending the lives of these animals. Because elk naturally shed and regrow their antlers each year, producing elk velvet antler does not harm any animals. It’s also a 100% renewable resource.
While other products can provide some relief for conditions such as arthritis, QEVA contains additional compounds that single trait products lack. The combination of the bioactive compounds contained in QEVA make it a more effective product.

To date, minimal side effects have been reported. Occasionally in older men, the symptoms of enlarged prostate may increase for a few weeks, but then gradually return to normal. Large doses may cause short periods of gastrointestinal upset in people and dogs.

The elk freely roam 2,500 acres of open pastures and are handled minimally. They are raised using all natural feeds, without hormones, or animal product feed additives. All elk used to produce velvet antlers are regularly tested and monitored for diseases, including tuberculosis and chronic wasting disease.
QEVA™ is harvested from the elk bulls under a protocol developed with the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association. This protocol requires training and certification of the owners/operators and is done humanely using analgesia to block the pain. The elk are restrained in a padded squeeze and chemicals or medications are not used on the animals for any QEVA™ products.
